Taking A Break From Hometown

Well as I'm writing this blog, it's already 2017 January, a new year. However, I would love to share my experience being in other country for family holiday. It's a thing for us to be out of Singapore every year for at least a week or two just to give us a break from everything and explore the world. And yes, travelling has always been a fun thing for me.

Well, usually some people visit to other country to have fun whilst some would love to know the history behind something that happened years back be it wars, culture and other things but for me, I actually do love both; shopping , educational trip, adventure and relaxing. My camera has only been my best buddy for a year or so. She's been with me thru a lot of adventure starting from our Turkey and Saudi Arabia trip and now China.

Highlight of the trip : Climbing up the Great Wall Of China has alwaaaaaaaaays been on my lifegoals list and finally i got to do it! Surprise surprise! It was actually incredible and full of thrills climbing up there in such cold weather, with your mucus running down from your nose eww. I did climbed up only a few steps (maybe 20 out of hundreds of steps) because my dad was standing down and shouting at my mum that we have to climbed down back as he was afraid that we couldn't get down. The steps was honestly scary; it's like as if you're climbing up a ladder but it was all good as I could put away my fear and get down safely.

China, a country full of culture and history. Well, i did actually think that I'm just going to waste my time there but after seeing all this magnificent places, I fell in love with the culture and the places. Friendly people everywhere but just that they couldn't communicate well in English but we had some basic knowledge in Chinese language so we could talk to them.

I would definitely be back here to adventure other parts of China! Well, i do really love to travel and I'm glad that my dad has planned for family holiday!

Catch you guys up again soon and will talk again when something exciting comes up!
